what is social letter
• social letters are more formal, include invitations and replies, letters of congratulation, thank-you notes, and letters of condolence.
invitation letter
• invitation letters are often required in business to invite clients and/or customers to important events , such as a black-tie affair, a seminar, a gala party, a dinner, a meeting, a ceremony, etc. • the tone of these letters is generally polite. it has an element of persuasion, as the purpose of the letter is not merely to invite but also to ensure that the recipient agrees to attend the event.
